AMAC Hosts its 4th Annual Award Reception

On September 23rd the 1.4 million member seniors’ organization, The Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), hosted its 4th Annual AMAC Award Reception.  With over 200 people cramming the Budget Committee Hearing Room, AMAC presented its highest honor to Representatives Joe Heck (NV-03) and Frank Guinta (NH-01) for fighting to ensure seniors continue to receive the benefits they’ve been promised. Dan Weber, the president and founder of AMAC, was pleased to honor these distinguished leaders and problem-solvers.

“New Hampshire seniors are some of the most patriotic citizens I know,” stated Mr. Guinta. “Many are U.S. military veterans. They deserve our thanks and also commitment to protect the health and retirement benefits this country promised them. But Social Security and Medicare face insolvency. I’m honored to receive AMAC’s award, recognizing my work to help Granite Staters and Americans secure their health and retirement. My bipartisan SENIORS Act would cut wasteful federal spending to grant them, as well as veterans, the cost-of-living increase they deserve. Thank you to Dan Weber, AMAC members and my fellow honoree Congressman Joe Heck for all they do.”
