Don’t miss healthcare costs when planning for retirement

When you’re planning for your golden years, you of course take into account living expenses such as mortgage or rent, food, utilities and other basic costs.  But the one big thing you shouldn’t forget to plan for is healthcare, because even though you’ll be on Medicare those costs will almost certainly be higher as you get older.  In fact, a recent study forecasts that you’ll incur as much as $275,000 in uncovered healthcare costs during your retirement.  This Motley Fool article by Katie Brockman describes the one thing that will cost you dearly in retirement.
