To younger workers, it has become almost urban legend to say things like, “I’ll never get a dime from Social Security.  It’ll be broke by then.”  But that is patently false.  In this easy to understand and important three minute video, Justin Halverson from Great Waters Financial confronts head-on some of the biggest myths when it comes to Social Security.  These include: Social Security will run out of money before current workers can apply, one should take benefits at 65, Social Security is all one needs for retirement, there are no income taxes on Social Security benefits, and the young shouldn’t worry about Social Security.  The video may be seen here…
