Tax Cuts and the Impact on Jobs and Wages

Epoch Times reporter Emel Akan, in a post this week on www.theepochtimes.com, recaps comments from JPMorgan Chase commercial banking head economist Jim Glassman that point toward a broadening of the benefits produced by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act implemented late last year. The article quotes a National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) survey showing that “three-fourths of small business owners believe the tax cuts will have a positive effect on their businesses,” and cites at least one example of the tax savings expected to translate to higher wages.
