Legislators want Social Security Administration to provide better advice

A recent GAO report revealed that the SSA was not always letting claimants know about the various options to maximize their benefits, and now legislators (and others) are pressuring the SSA to improve its counseling services.  A report by Mark Miller of Reuters talks about areas where the SSA needs to improve when providing advice to those considering retirement.  To read more of that article, click here.
