Ohio Medicare drug coverage prices to increase

Many Ohio seniors could end up paying more next year for their prescription drug coverage. More than half the Medicare Part D prescription drug plans available in the state — including this year’s cheapest option — are increasing monthly premiums in 2015, according to an analysis of data released Thursday by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The nearly 2 million Ohio residents covered by Medicare will be able to select from 31 optional Medicare Part D prescription drug plans in 2015, six less than this year, according to CMS….Read More
