Retirement Confidence Across Generations

Many workers are still recovering from the Great Recession which drained most retirement accounts. Baby Boomers, Gen X, and Millennials all poll under 50% for feeling ready and prepared for retirement. When the majority of the population is feeling insecure for their future in retirement there is a problem. However, this does not mean that it is a purely economical problem, a lot of it is poor financial education and planning skills. This also does not doom those nearing retirement, many are coping by continuing to work in to their retirement with either full-time or part-time work to supplement their retirement income.
