Social Security’s Disability Fraud Initative

The Minnesota office of Social Security’s Cooperative Disability Investigations (CDI) program is joining forces with 36 other offices country-wide in a continually expanding effort to deal with fraud. The driving force behind this expansion effort is the continual growth in fraud investigations, which now comprises 86% of the Social Security Inspector General’s caseload.
