Statistics about retirement

In 2017, about nine million senior citizens were still working and most of those folks are working because they must – because they can’t afford to completely retire. The extent of the problem of Americans not saving enough for retirement may stun you. According to the Employee Benefit Research Institute’s 2017 Retirement Confidence Survey, about 24 percent of workers and 21 percent of retirees said they had less than $1,000 saved for retirement.  The attached article outlines 20 things you should know to help you develop a retirement plan.
