Staying active reduces disability risks

Statistically, about 1 in 5 Americans might well end up disabled, and the risk to senior citizens is even greater.  But adding less than an hour each week of moderate exercise goes a long ways to reducing the immobility risks that today’s seniors face.  This Tufts University article appearing at eurekalert.org discusses how small increases in physical activity reduces immobility and disability risks in older adults.  Click here to read more.
