Taking a Look at The Landscape–Potential Areas of Change in 2017

It’s pretty early in the forecasting cycle–in fact, the new administration is still over a month away from taking office–but it’s time to start thinking about what could happen in the year ahead. Morningstar contributor Mark Miller offers conjecture on some of the likely areas that will receive attention in 2017, including potential action on the proposed fiduciary rules governing financial advisor conflict-of-interest, possible steps toward Social Security reform, and hypothetical changes to the financing of long-term care for a rapidly aging population segment.
