Boomers are now outnumbered by Millennials in the work force and the gap is widening. On top of that, Millennials are now getting to the point in their careers where they are taking on managerial positions. Boomers that are still working may feel by this fact as some may see the millennials as less experienced in these positions. These feelings have been consistent from generation to generation as the younger continue to take over for the older. This new transfer in leadership should be looked at in the same way as each generation brings in new ideas and has generally led to an improvement when mixed with the “old-school” way of doing things.
