The economic impact payment (stimulus) process is administered by the IRS; unfortunately, we are not involved in the details of the process and are not able to answer your procedural question. However, we note that the Social Security Administration on May 7 posted an update for various segments of the population, and included a document titled “Economic Impact Payments for Social Security and SSI Recipients – Steps to Take and Schedule of Payments.” This document may provide the information you need, and you can access it here: https://www.ssa.gov/coronavirus/assets/materials/economic-impact-payments-for-social-security-and-ssi-recipients.pdf.

You can check official IRS website addressing the qualifications for payments at http://www.IRS.gov/coronavirus. If you are eligible, you can check the status of your payment by visiting IRS.gov and clicking on Where’s My Payment. If your payment has been processed it will tell you when your check is being mailed or, if already sent, when it was to have been received.
