2025 Medicare Trustees report
The Medicare and Social Security Trustees released their latest report on June 18, 2025. The Medicare Trustees project that the Medicare Hospital Insurance (HI) trust fund will become insolvent in 2033; upon insolvency, spending will be cut by 11 percent, which could jeopardize access to healthcare for seniors.
