3 Mistakes That Could Sabotage Your Social Security Benefits

Katie Brockman notes three blunders that should be avoided when it comes to Social Security.  According to a survey by the Nationwide Retirement Institute about 20% of baby boomers say Social Security benefits will be their only income source in retirement and that only 37% of boomers are confident in their knowledge about the program.  Brockman explain these should be avoided: 1. Claiming at the wrong age; 2. Not working for at least 35 years; 3. Not checking your statements online for mistakes.  Full piece here.
