Wage Gap Leads to Sleep Gap
Over half the men in America admit to losing sleep over worrying about money problems, this is amplified to 70% with women. The number one cause for this worry is in retirement savings. It is becoming more and more apparent that Social Security is not enough to live off of in Social Security, yet many are having trouble with personal savings for retirement to supplement their benefits. The average amount of benefits paid out in 2010 was $17,856 for men and $12,000 for women, this puts both well below the poverty line and is ample cause for their worry.
