Personal Income In U.S. Drops As Taxes Rise

Personal income in the U.S. was down in every state but South Dakota in the first quarter of the year, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis said in report Friday. That means the money people received from salaries, bonuses, investment income, pensions and Social Security was lower than it had been at the end of 2012.
