Is there a correlation between education level and savings motivation?
An article by MarketWatch columnist Andrea Coombes takes a look at conclusions drawn from a study by the American Sociological Association that there is a correlation between attitudes on saving for retirement and education level. An excerpt from the research paper produced by the study puts the issue in perspective with this: “The advantage of college education goes beyond the monetary return during the work-life.
