A Multigenerational Work Place

The labor force in America currently holds four unique generations, Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z. These generations all represent their own talents and experiences in regards to the work force. A recent survey has found the preferences of each generation when it comes to a prospective job and most of it dissolves down to the technology used in the workplace. Each generation acknowledges the need for a digital work space but each generation has their own idea of what that means. The survey found that Baby Boomers and Gen X prefer the use of desk top computers and landlines in their everyday use whereas Gen Z prefers laptops and mobile phones. Millennials landed in the middle, saying they were flexible and comfortable using any technology available to them. For more information on this subject visit this article from Jacksonville.com.
