401k Plans Appear to be on a Rebound
The results of a recent Gallup poll point toward an uptick in the number of future retirees expecting their 401(k) or other retirement savings account to be a major source of income in their golden years, according to an article by Gallup’s Lydia Saad. Although it’s only a slight increase, and despite the fact that this optimism is not yet back to pre-2008 meltdown sentiments, Ms. Saad cites the correlation between economic growth and resulting strong stock markets and labor markets as indicators of the future.
