Consider a phased approach to retirement

The prospect of going from a full time career to total retirement might seem either appealing or scary, depending on how ready you really are to jump into your golden years with both feet.  But there’s an alternative that could allow you to test the waters by only dipping your toes into retirement, and that alternative is called “phased retirement”.  Phased retirement, as this Motley Fool article by Maurie Backman explains, is an approach that says retirement doesn’t have to be an all or nothing decision, but rather something you may be able to arrive at gradually.  Click here to read more.
