Scammer alert: Don’t take calls about your new Medicare card
In the midst of the scheduled distribution of new Medicare cards which don’t carry your Social Security Number (SSN), scammers are desperately trying to steal SSN’s by calling seniors and representing themselves as being from Medicare. The fact is this: Medicare doesn’t make unsolicited calls to anyone and you don’t need to do anything but wait for your new card to appear in your mailbox.
