One way to keep more of your money in your golden years is by incorporating non-taxable income into your retirement plan. Social Security sometimes escapes taxation, as long as your non-Social Security income plus half of your annual benefits falls below $25,000 as a single tax filer, or below $34,000 as a couple filing taxes jointly.
