Shopping for a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug plan

The Annual Election Period (“AEP” which is sometimes also referred to as “open enrollment”) started October 15th and continues through December 7th. It is during this period of time that you can make changes to your current healthcare coverage, including your Medicare “Part D” prescription drug plan. Of course, if you’re happy with your current drug coverage, you can choose to do nothing and stick with your current plan. But, plans do change from year to year, especially costs and drugs covered, so you may find it prudent to evaluate all of your options now to make sure your current plan is still the best plan for your prescription drug needs.
