Time to Collect Social Security Now?

Matthew Frankel underscores the advice commonly given– that there is no perfect age to take Social Security, and the ideal time depends on people’s life circumstances. Frankel lists a few things to take into consideration when deciding the best age for you: 1.) do you need the money now? 2.) is your spouse at full retirement age? 3.) are you close to age 70? 4.) are you prepared to leave your job? 5.) do you have younger children?
