Expectations versus reality

Reality and expectations are two sides of the same coin. On the one hand, we have expectations, which are our aspirations and wants for the future. On the other hand, the reality is the actual result of our actions and judgments. These two ideas are frequently in conflict with one another. This statement is true for retirement as well. The Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies survey found that more than 4 in 10 workers aged 50 or older envision a different retirement than what they experienced.
