Calling it “Cold Comfort for Seniors Wrecked by Biden’s Cost-of-Living Crisis,” House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (MO-08) provided via a press release today an analysis of the recent SSA announcement on next year’s 3.2% cost-of-living adjustment. With a series of supporting statistics, Smith presents viewpoints on how the continuing effects of spending-induced inflation not only hurt seniors despite the adjustment, but lead to further depletion of Social Security’s trust fund reserves as well.
