What’s Ahead for Medicare Beneficiaries in 2025

We already know what to expect relative to Social Security benefits in 2025–the much-discussed 2.5%–cost-of-living adjustment (COLA)–but we also know that that’s not the full story. As noted in a post by Jeffrey Quiggle, an editor and reporter at TheStreet on their website, “The premium for Medicare Part B is expected to increase in 2025 slightly, and an announcement from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) explaining the details should arrive soon.” This slight increase, of course, will change the net effect of the 2025 COLA, and changes are coming in the area of Part D coverage that will interest beneficiaries.
