SSA Responds to Criticism About Customer Service - Newsweek
The issue of field office responses to calls has been in the news repeatedly since the recent administrative changes undertaken at the Social Security Administration (SSA). Much of the concern is related to public perceptions regarding the impact of staffing changes at the agency, as well as the efficacy of technology being deployed to enhance customer experiences.

Elizabeth about the validity of service statistics quoted by SSA, the agency has released commentary relating to recently appointed Commissioner Frank Bisignano, defending the progress made over the past few months.
