SSA Commissioner on Insolvency: “Everything’s being considered.”

 

With Social Security’s financial cliff–the point at which revenue could no longer support scheduled benefit payments–now about seven years away, the temperature seems to be heating up in search of a solution. In a recent Yahoo!Finance post, reporter Eleanor Pringle recaps positions expressed by Commissioner Frank Bisignano on the issue, particularly the policy changes that will likely be made and how these changes could affect future generations of retirees.
