Great Progress at the Social Security Administration - Social SSecurity Administration

Now only one year into his appointment as Commissioner of the Social Security Administration, Frank Bisignano has made an indelibly positive mark on this federal agency so crucial to Americans. Customer service levels have improved dramatically even in the face of much higher transaction volumes. Telephone “speed of answer” times have greatly improved and transaction backlogs have significantly decreased due to better use of technology and prudent staffing changes within the agency. All of which is testimony to the new Commissioner leveraging his business management experience within this massive federal agency. This progress, and more, is heralded in this Press Release from the Social Security Administration. And we are looking forward to continued improved customer service for Americans – seniors, children, and others – who rely on Social Security. Click here to read the SSA Press Release.
