A Beginner’s Guide to Social Security - MediaPlanet, AMAC Foundation
AMAC Foundation is proud to partner with Mediaplanet on its Senior Health campaign! As many of you are aware, 10,000 people turn 65 in the United States every single day. By 2050, senior citizens will represent 20% of the population. This campaign seeks to address the uncertainties and worries that accompany aging — not just for older Americans, but also for their caregivers and loved ones. The campaign connects such stakeholders to advice and insights from industry experts, innovative products and services that take some of the bite out of growing older, and compelling stories that reassure readers they are not alone in this process.
Our participation in this campaign included contribution of two feature articles, the first of which appeared in Mediaplanet’s June 29, 2022 USAToday insert labeled “Supporting Our Seniors & Caregivers,” and provided advice and insights into the importance of considering Social Security as a life journey. The article, titled “A Beginner’s Guide to Social Security” was one of eight articles featured in the insert, and was subsequently re-posted on the AMAC.us website here. The second article contributed by the Foundation also appeared in the Mediaplanet campaign material and on the foundation’s Facebook page.
