A Break from Reporting the News
On this Memorial Day Weekend, we’re departing momentarily from channeling Social Security and retirement news, instead sharing with you a moving version of Lee Greewood’s signature piece, “God Bess the U.S.A.” First recorded in 1984, the song has captured the spirit of a nation and throughout the year serves as a universal rallying cry for patriots. The version we’re sharing here features three-time Emmy Award winners The Texas Tenors. The song, and its message, resonate well with the spirit of Memorial Day and the reasons why we honor the men and women who gave us the freedoms we enjoy.
