A Day to Remember
As all Americans struggle with the harsh realities and personal sacrifices fraught by the COVID-19 pandemic, Memorial Day 2020 is a day set aside to remember the many Americans who have lost their lives in military service to our country. Throughout our national history, hundreds of thousands of American military men and women have made the ultimate sacrifice which, in perspective, make today’s pandemic quarantines and restrictions seem much less traumatic. So although this year’s Memorial Day celebrations, parades, and community barbecues will certainly be much more muted than in previous years, that more reserved national mindset is nevertheless appropriate for a day intended to honor those who died in service to the Untied States of America. May God bless our fallen heroes. And where ever you go today and whatever you do, please stay safe.
