The pundits’ verdict on whether Donald Trump helped or hurt himself at Thursday’s debate is sharply divided, with some — Alex Roarty of the National Journal, for example — calling him a winner and others, such as The New York Time’s Nate Cohen, putting him in the losers’ column. We’ll soon know what the polls say, but how anyone could watch Trump’s performance and consider this scowling huckster presidential material is beyond me. Read more…
