Alliance Seeks to Promote Encourage Young Voters

The Civic Engagement Alliance (CEA), a collaborative nonpartisan effort to improve voter engagement and other forms of civic engagement on campus, may be gaining momentum a post by Solutions Journalism Network’s David Bornstein on nytimes.com reports. CEA’s mission is to promote voter engagement at younger ages, giving younger voters more of a voice in shaping the issues impacting their future. A noble effort, and so long as the academic forces behind it remain balanced in the information provided via curricula, there could be tremendous benefit cfross generations.
