Applying for Social Security? Don’t Let the Pandemic Deter you.

Even though the Social Security Administration (SSA) offices are physically closed to walk-in traffic during the COVID-19 pandemic, you can still apply for benefits. It starts with creation of an online “my Social Security” account, and ends with receipt of a confirmation letter from SSA detailing your benefits and the schedule for payment of your benefits.
