Are you a part of the ‘sandwich generation’?
No, I am not writing about those of you who like to eat ham and cheese on whole wheat. The term “sandwich generation” refers to those folks who are still caring for or supporting their children or grandchildren and are caring for their own parents. They are “sandwiched” between the older and younger generation. At a time when millions of baby boomers are looking forward to the freedom from being financially responsible for their children, some are finding “the adult kids” still need help.
