Building a nest egg to take with you into retirement is something that should be in everyone’s plan for their future. Unfortunately, far too many pre-retirees find themselves with very little money saved, which could portend a pretty rocky road in their so-called golden years. Studies show that about 30% of American workers aren’t taking full advantage of their employer’s retirement plans, potentially foregoing “free money” that about 96% of those employers offer in their plans.
