Baby Boomer Approach to Cyber Security

Cyber security has been a hot topic recently. Protecting your identity has taken a whole new approach since the new millennium and some people are still trying to figure it all out. Being technologically illiterate is no longer an excuse and could carry dire consequences for those that refuse to catch up. Millennials may be the generation that grew up with the internet, but Boomers are the generation that invented it. Boomers created the internet, the rules that hold it together, and the machines that make it available. Boomers are also, on average, the most well protected demographic on the internet. They have the least number of security reports of stolen identity or information and are the least likely to share personal information on social media outlets.
