Beware of Social Security spammers!
It’s an unfortunate reality of our times, but there is no end to the amount of cyber-criminals who are looking to take advantage of any scheme they can find to bilk you out of your money. Sadly, senior citizens are often a target of these criminals and one of the often-sought areas of scamming is your Social Security benefits. And don’t think you’re not vulnerable if you’re not yet ready to apply for Social Security, because that may even put you at more risk than if you were already collecting.
