Boomers, Millennials, and Homes

Millennials are finding it hard to find and purchase homes. Baby Boomers are staying put in their houses that they bought during their careers, they are refusing to downsize in retirement because they are the first generation that can afford not to. On the other side of the coin, Boomers looking to sell their house could run in to problems if their homes are not Millennial friendly. Millennials generally look for different things in a home than Boomers value. The younger generation looks for a streamlined and up to date living space that is good for entertaining, something older homes may not provide.
