Beyond delaying to age 70, which is the best way to gain the highest payment, people can keep working. First, it’s possible that a year’s salary now might overtake one early ion your career and thus yield a better benefit. Second, verify your earning history. If you find a mistake, you might get a higher benefit. Third, consider canceling your payment to get the benefits of delaying, though this is only open to those who started in the last 12 months.
