On behalf of our 1.1 million members, AMAC sent a letter to the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Marilyn Tavenner, to express our deep concern for the beneficiaries and providers of Medicare home healthcare services. As a result of the Affordable Care Act, $22 billion will be cut from Medicare home healthcare over the next four years – affecting 3.5 million beneficiaries.
