Cruz’s Plan for Social Security
Some candidates are finally starting to talk about the Social Security program as part of their platform. This is a very good thing because of the problems constantly popping up with the system that keep having Band-Aid fixes applied. It is refreshing to hear any proposal from these candidates, any proposed solution is inherently better than no proposed solution because it at least shows that they are acknowledging that there is a problem. Part of Cruz’s plan would put much of the work on younger workers to pay off the debt and stave off the insolvency of the program.
