Employers overestimating the financial health of their employees - Investment News

A recent survey by the Transamerica Institute “found a consistent pattern of employers overestimating the financial health of their workforce while workers quietly absorb the consequences of persistent inflation, inadequate benefits, and mounting retirement anxiety.” One of the most alarming findings of this survey was the state of retirement savings.  The report findings show that 84 percent of employers said they were confident their workers would achieve a financially secure retirement; however, only 69 percent of workers shared that same sentiment.
