Explaining the new security layer for Social Security online accounts

Back in June, the Social Security Administration added another layer of security for online accounts, in response to incidents of scammers hacking into beneficiaries accounts.  The change caught many people by surprise and resulted in a lot of confusion, but there can be no doubt that adding security to one of your most important financial accounts is, in the end, a good thing.  In this Philadelphia Inquirer philly.com article, Erin Arvedlund explains the new security layer and how it affects different age groups.  Click here to read more.
