Federal funding levels for Medicare counseling services may remain intact
According to a post by Richard Craver of the Winston-Salem Journal, proposals are in play to retain federal funding levels for “free local counseling on annual Medicare options” for the coming fiscal year. U.S. House Appropriations Committee’s draft bill including funding recommendations for this is currently under consideration and will likely be voted on in September. Read the article here…
