Focus on the positive aspects of Social Security

It has become fashionable to criticize Social Security based on its flaws, but there are some positive things about the Social Security program.  For one thing, you can claim your benefits when you want to. You can start collecting your benefits at age 62 and wait until age 70; there is no reason to wait beyond 70 to begin to collect your Social Security benefit. The second thing, you can grow your benefits by delaying your filing beyond your full retirement age.
