Focusing on Early Filing for Social Security Benefits…the Upside

Well, as in so many decisions you’ll make in life, it’s really an up-and-down world. So it goes with the question of when to file for Social Security retirement benefits. While the previous Latest News post on this site addressed the generally negative implications for filing at age 62, there’s always a counter view, and that view is covered in a post by The Motley Fool’s Kailey Hagen in a post on their website. Her article, titled “3 Great Reasons to Take Social Security Benefits at 62,” showcases three of the primary reasons why filing at the earliest point can make sense for you.
